Companies built to be kept.
Kerns Development is the holding company behind our ventures. One team, one set of systems, and a long view on everything it owns.
David Kerns
David began his career in audit at Deloitte, then co-founded CrewLAB, where he led data, operations and go-to-market as the company grew from its first user to ten thousand and raised $3M. He went on to run operations at a services marketplace before founding Kerns Development.
He studied economics at UCLA, with a master's in quantitative economics. Outside the companies he produces electronic music as Enharmonic and has built large-scale art installations for festivals, Burning Man among them.
What we hold to
Ownership
What we build belongs to the people who run it. No rented platforms, no locked data.
Close to the work
We build the product, the systems and the go-to-market ourselves. Nothing at the core gets handed off.
A long view
Fewer things, held longer, built properly.
